My Approach to Therapeutic Massage

I apply combined techniques from any or all of the above modalities to meet your specific needs.

Using varied techniques helps affect both physical and mental health.

While bodywork has physical benefits, there are significant, measurable results for mental health, specifically by increasing serotonin and dopamine levels by around 30%, oxytocin by 10% , and lowering cortisol. by around 30%. In turn these neurotransmitters increase white blood cell count, manage blood sugar spikes and positively affect all systems of the body.

If you are someone who insists that excessively deep, painful pressure is necessary and beneficial, I'm probably not the right therapist for you.

Science Based Approach

Extensive training in anatomy, physiology, and pathology allows me to plan a unique approach to every patient, and every appointment.

I combine deep tissue, Swedish, myofacsial, sports massage, and PNF techniques, but aim for a painless, relaxing experience overall. Whether you just want a relaxing massage, to manage a health condition like high blood pressure, enhance your sports performance, or even address multiple issues, I can adjust my work to your specific needs. Massage is proven to be very effective in managing mental health challenges - like depression and anxiety.

Most of all, I love seeing people leave pain free and feeling great.
